I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. the owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room was very spacious and clean, with a comfortable king-size bed. I also appreciated the good working facilities, as I needed to do some work during my stay. Additionally, the location was just perfect, nestled in a charming garden next to a splendid river. It provided a peaceful and romantic atmosphere, which was a lovely bonus. The breakfast was also delicious, especially when I tried the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast recommended by the owners.
All was great, no complaints whatsoever.

We had a fantastic stay at this hidden gem in Galle. The large, clean room and bathroom exceeded our European standards. The hosts were welcoming and the beautiful garden provided a peaceful retreat. We even had the chance to observe playful monkeys during breakfast. The WiFi connection was excellent, and the hosts offered tuk tuk rides at a fair price. We regretted moving to Unawatuna and should have stayed here instead.
Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located near a water source, adding a touch of nature and tranquility to the overall experience. Guests' feedback highlights the cleanliness of the rooms, the quality of the breakfast, and the friendliness of the staff. Based on reviews, some rooms are spacious and offer beautiful views of the nature around the hotel.
One drawback is that the hotel's location may require guests to take public transportation to reach some areas of interest in the city.

The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a super relaxing stay. The cleanliness of the villa was absolutely spotless, including the washroom with its hot showers. The welcome drink, a refreshing papaya juice, was a delightful way to start our stay. Breakfast, served in the beautiful garden overlooking the lake, was both delicious and filling. We even had the cool experience of spotting Monitor Lizards in the lake! The owner of the villa went above and beyond to be helpful throughout our stay. The villa's location was convenient as it was just a 15-minute walk from the main attractions of the city, with easy access to buses and Tuk Tuks right outside the villa.

Spent Xmas at a pleasant retreat with beautiful green surroundings, close to the beach, and with charming hosts. Owner was hospitable, knowledgeable and offered tasty meals made by his wife. Rooms were big, airy and equipped with AC, ensuring a comfortable stay despite the tropical weather.
Being near wildlife, there were some insects to deal with, but nothing overwhelming. The guest house was a bit far from the town centre, but easily accessible by bus or tuk-tuk.

We had an amazing stay at this property. the cleanliness and attention to detail were outstanding. Beautiful flowers, fresh linen, and lovely crockery made our meals enjoyable. the owner and his son were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay hassle-free. the location by the serene lagoon with stunning birdlife and cheeky monkeys was perfect. We highly recommend taking the owner's lagoon safari for a unique experience. the comfortable bed, clean towels, and consistent hot water in the shower added to our pleasant stay. The book swap facility was a great bonus. Cons: Not one thing 🙌.
